On theafternoon of April 19, Mr. Torkel hermansson and Mr. Chris Svanstrom,,executive directors of TARBIT, together with Mr. Zhang Tao, Deputy General Managerand Mr. Ji Hongfei, Assistant General Manager of our Group, completed the clouddelivery of " BIT WAVE " through video link. Mr. Wilhelm steien,senior manager of BRS and Mr. Wang Changchun, Deputy General Manager of BRSShanghai Office, witnessed the event via video link.
The shipis the first 13000DWT LNG dual-fuel chemical tanker built by our Group for Swedishshipowner TARBIT, and is also the first LNG fuel chemical tanker ever built byour Group. This type of ship has a total length of 129.99 meters, a length betweenperpendiculars of 127.20 meters, a width of 21.50 meters, a depth of 11.40meters, a design draft of 8.50 meters, and a C-type tank.
The shipadopts a new type of vertical bow, which has lower resistance and optimizedspeed and fuel consumption under various loading conditions and wind and waveconditions. The ship has carried out various degrees of technologicalinnovation in aspects such as 1A ice class strengthening, dual-fuel propulsionsystem, dual-fuel boiler combined with inert gas and Shaft generatorPTO/PTI/PTH. In the machinery equipment and cabin layout has also set a newbenchmark for high-end chemical tankers in Northern Europe.
